Robyn Kass Says Interesting

Now I’m totally making a Big Brother mountain over a Twitter molehill, but since there’s not much else to talk about besides “BUY YOUR LIVE FEEDS NOW!!!” let’s just run with this and be really dramatic…

If you don’t know who Robyn Kass is and you’re a Big Brother fan, then shame on you. She’s literally one of the hardest-working women in reality television, and owner of “the first full-service reality casting company” and responsible for casting me and every season of Big Brother and so many other very big reality shows. I love that Robyn and I still tweet in touch, and what I’ll always remember about the time I spent with her is how  R E A L  she is. Robyn’s a fellow I-don’t-give-a-fuck-while-still-giving-a-fuck kinda girl, and I love her for it.

So when she tweet me in response to my BB15 Rumors blog, “I’ve heard them all. Interesting……,” of course I laughed.

Ugh! That word “interesting” is the worst word when you want to gossip! And since we have nothing much else to gossip about, let’s discuss and overanalyze and pick apart the word “interesting” that Robyn used…shall we? What do you think she meant by her tweet?!

Update: All rumors proved to be false and what we got was an all-new cast. It was fun speculating!

Always dishing,

Jun

P.S. This is all in good fun…nobody go harassing Robyn. Sigh. I really have to  say that.

You get an E for Effort! :) We need to dissect the word as much as we can…”interesting”…ugh!

  • Sometimes, interesting means just that, That it is interesting. Of course for the purpose of this exercise, I will take it to mean that at least one of the rumors you proposed is true. I choose to believe that it is that Survivors will inhabit the habitat. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  • Instead of focusing on what she said, let’s examine what she didn’t. Robyn didn’t tweet this year when semi-finalists and finalists were all notified like last year. But why? Maybe because there were none. This would support the survivor casting or all-star rumors. Why are we all so quick to take CBS at their word about new folks? Like they wouldn’t lie.

But as a casting hopeful, I’m always looking for casting chatter and there really wasn’t any this year, again supporting the survivor rumor. But the one thing I did come across was that people who had gone to casting were being grilled about their significant others and even being asked to send in pictures. Maybe a season 6 secret partner twist redo? This would support the lesbian couple and mom/son rumors.

Yes, I have too much time on my hands. Yes I’ll stop now. Love your blogs, I’m going to miss power rankings :(

You had me at “Instead of focusing on what she said, let’s examine what she didn’t.”

      Hello. :)

  • Possibly some are correct, Possibly good ideas for the future. Possibly keeping in tweet with you for future seasons. Possibly being a smart woman who realizes that sometimes one word is all one needs to get people talking. I’m hoping it’s all of the above :)

  • I can definitely see the jury of 9 if there is going to be up to 20 HG’s.
Normally when Robyn says ” Interesting..” Like last season when people made rumors about coaches, the rumor turned out to be true.

We will have to wait and see 😛

I just signed up for the live feeds, via Big Brother Group, per one of your recommendations on a previous post. I felt the urgency when reading your: “BUY YOUR LIVE FEEDS NOW!!!” Thank you for the heads up! I think “interesting” means…”hot dog! you know it!” (Here I am, a 68 years old grandmother, “Babci” (in Polish) pronounced “bop she” and signing up for live feeds. This is exciting!!0 Thank you.

  • I think BB should do a super all stars version….fill the house with every winner from past seasons. Now THAT would be an interesting season…

  • I came to p;ay but as my fingers took their places on the keyboard I found out that I have nothing interesting to say about ‘interesting’. Maybe I’ll be ready to play tomorrow. :-) ♥ u Jun!

  • I must admit that I sometimes utter “interesting” when I can’t think of anything good to say in response to a really stupid suggestion, description, or idea. In this case though I think Robyn used the term because one, some or all of the rumors are true. And she was likely thinking “where’s the leak?!?” (To which I would say “CBS”)

Feel Free to Dish!
